It's just a little baby 4 core.  :D

My 5960x does 11,500+ CPU score in Time Spy, but I like using the 7700k a lot more.  I'm in the process of moving my 1080 SLI over to the 5960x rig and finishing the loop.  Then I'll sell the whole thing right before Skylake-X drops.

My 1080 Ti cards aren't clocking super high, but they seem to be cranking out the same or higher FPS / scores than those with higher clock speeds.  There's definitely a point in diminishing returns with ambient overclocks on Pascal.  My ambient temps were high when I tested, so I might try again with cooler conditions.

Sucks that this thread has died.

oooooh nice.

Valley and Superposition are just more accessible tbh. Considering they are free programs.

Yeah, I like using 3DMark when I'm benching on bigger chips because you get CPU points factored in, but if you want to really test your GPU performance, I think others like Superposition are better.  Valley would still be great if they updated it and fixed the CPU limitations, otherwise it's not a great GPU test anymore.

Maybe I'll contact the mods and see if we can't start a new 3DMark thread.  Remove the sticky on this one and start fresh.

It would be even better if there was a subsection dedicated to benchmark threads like it is on OCN.

That would be great. It took so long to get this this and the cinebench thread stickyed though, they don't like change or community feedback though. They put the user guides thread and shoved it right to the bottom so that should say it all. There was loads of good guys on how to do stuff and we didn't get the same thread coming up over and over again and when it does they could link the to the guide thread and then lock the new thread they made.

They want the constant reposts. It increases activity and keeps it there.

Between that and the fact that you can't delete an account should tell us a lot.
