Testing the newest GPU on air, before I put it under water.  Thing is gonna beast when it's cold.

Unfortunately, it seems like I got a dud of an overclocker compared to my Titan. The max core I can hit is 2050MHz stable compared to the 2126 on the Titan. Scores are lower as well. What a bummer. :( Seems the Titan's got the binned chips. I keep running into voltage reliability issues on the Extreme/Ultra tests. I don't know if raising the voltage will help with that or not. :/

 

Besides that, still glad I saved $500 bucks and was able to put 3 more Noctua Industrial 3000RPM fans. It sounds like a server room in my office now. xD

So I played Wildlands for an hour nearly maxed out and the max temp I got was 32c. :o It was mostly bouncing between 31-32c. I had the Noctua NF-F12 iPPC at about 80%. Hot damn I didn't realize what a difference fans truly make. I felt around the back of the case and that fan was pushing some serious air through the rad. I'm very impressed with the performance as it brought temps down about 6-7c over the stock EVGA fan.

You guys think I can squeeze more out of the core by adding +100mv? I'm hitting VRel which I assume it means the core is at it's limits because of voltage? Is that right? Just trying to squeeze a bit more out for benchmarks.

 

Would RAM speed help too?

I have no plans on rushing on the 1080 Ti.  I know I want it, but I want the right ones this time around.

Alot is going to depend on core temps....a little extra voltage may help a tiny bit, but unless you're staying below 30c (MAX) on the core, I doubt it does you much good at all.  

Can't take away your b-day for trying, though.  = )

I'm waiting for the Classy...when it comes out, and someone gets blocks made for it, then I'll sell my 3 x 1080s and get one or two of them.

well i can safely say 240hz 1440P gayming is ok for you :D that looks op af. also it would be a real shame not to put those on hwbot.

I added +100mv and got a bin higher at 2063MHz. No longer VRel'd. Seems my GPU needed 1.075. Tried 2076 but crashed within 5 seconds. Added 4 points to my score. xD But graphics score went down. :/
