Xbox One or New PC

Easily PC. The Xbone is a sinking ship and so are consoles. Why would you want to limit yourself to a few crappy games instead of giving yourself the ability to choose from thousands of great games.

And a needless cost. You bought the machine, you bought the game and then the greedy bastards want you to pay a subscription fee as well? Seriously, we're not money trees!

I am very tight when it comes to money so it makes sense to drop xbox

Fair enough but the console won't die anytime soon

Is that why the PC Gaming market has massively overtaken the console gaming market recently? Especially in the UK?

S'okay man, you can force a change with the drop-down in the top-right corner of the site, and if you're logged in, you can also do a blanket-force of a particular retailer (say, PCCaseGear for an Aussie, or NCIX for a Canadian or US user). You could also force a particular retailer item-by-item if you want to fine-tune where you're gonna get the best deals too.

Yep I have a hard drive with windows 7 64bit on it

Oog, Windows doesn't like being moved from one CPU/Mobo/RAM combo to another CPU/Mobo/RAM combo, it gets persnickety even if you upgrade the RAM in the system already by changing out all the sticks. *has had to deal with previously*

xbox one definitely hands down

8 cores vs 4 cores on gaming PCs

and a GPU that has on die ram that destroys any pc right now

and if thats not enough it has 8GB 2133 mhz ddr3

PC now normally have 4GB around 1600mhz  and 1GB on the GPU

but on the xbox one the 8GB of shared ram  which means its much faster since they can talk to each other better

and finally u can make use of microsofts supercomputers for even better graphics

also games are much better optimized which means 1080p on consoles look much better than 1080p on computers

I'm probably gonna get a bit of hate for my RAM choice ("Only one stick, how dare you?!" </mock> yes, how dare I suggest going for 8GB sticks over a pair of 4GB sticks for future upgrading if/when needed? :P Better to have the capability for putting more memory without replacing what you have in and not need it rather than need it and have to replace all the memory!), but some builds I'd suggest are;

An i3 build: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/zHtqrH
CPU - Intel Core i3-4350 3.6GHz Dual-Core Processor - $149.00 PCCaseGear
Motherboard - ASRock B85M Pro4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard - $85.00 PCCaseGear
Memory - Corsair 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory - $99.00 PCCaseGear
Video Card - Asus Radeon R9 270 2GB DirectCU II Video Card - $209.00 PCCaseGear
Case - Cooler Master K280 ATX Mid Tower Case - $52.00 PCCaseGear
Power Supply - Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply - $105.00 PCCaseGear
Total: $699.00

An i5 build (i3 build, swapped up to an i5 chip): http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/Ln4mNG
CPU - Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor - $205.00 PCCaseGear
Motherboard - ASRock B85M Pro4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard - $85.00 PCCaseGear
Memory - Corsair 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory - $99.00 PCCaseGear
Video Card - Asus Radeon R9 270 2GB DirectCU II Video Card - $209.00 PCCaseGear
Case - Cooler Master K280 ATX Mid Tower Case - $52.00 PCCaseGear
Power Supply - Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply - $105.00 PCCaseGear
Total: $755.00

An AMD FX-8320 build: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/QJW7sY

CPU - AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor - $179.00 PCCaseGear

Motherboard - ASRock 980DE3/U3S3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard - $69.00 PCCaseGear

Memory - Corsair 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory - $99.00 PCCaseGear
Video Card - Asus Radeon R9 270 2GB DirectCU II Video Card - $209.00 PCCaseGear
Case - Cooler Master K280 ATX Mid Tower Case - $52.00 PCCaseGear
Power Supply - Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply - $105.00 PCCaseGear

Total: $713.00

If you had a slightly bigger budget to work with (say, $900-1000), then I'd tweak these a touch, but that's about as best as I can personally see for around the $700-750 mark (and even then, I wouldn't suggest going for the i5 build unless you were working with more an $800 budget).
