So , Im Spending my vacations with my gf at her vacation house , and i brought my old laptop , and all the sudden , my brother comes on skype and says he needs my password of my PC (hes 21)

 

And i Asked why , he said he brought a friend over to play Gmod .  And i said Erm.. ofc i wont give you my password , and he said ohh cmon .. dont do that to me please .. bla bla bla , And i end up giving my password to him , the

 

problem is what if my brother slips the password to my dad or my mom and then they go on my pc and see my stuff ... well i got nothing to hide , but my dad likes to controll us .. like installing keyloggers and other stuff like that .. well

 

time to reinstall windows again :D (might try Win8)

Do you know for a fact that your Dad might install some kind of keylogger onto your PC? Or is that just hyperbole? Because that sounds awfully extreme.

 

Secondly, how good a relationship do you have with your brother? Because if he's really not trustworthy...then yeah, you effed up. :P

 

Anyway, I don't think I'd worry too much. Your worst case scenario depends on your brother being a dick AND your dad being crazy enough to install spyware onto your PC. But IMO, if he's fine with you vacationing with your girlfriend (aka basically sleeping with her) how controlling can he really be?

When you get home just backup your files and nuke the OS to take care of any tomfoolery.

O.o the keylogger thing he did it when i has like 4 or 5, he was afraid i would go on a site that i shouldnt , i was just afraid that he would do it again , but that is highly unlikeable
