Best surge protector or power strip

What's the best surge protector or power strip?

REQUIREMENTS:

- Preferably under $30 USD, give or take $10.

- At least 8 outlets but no more than 12 or 13.

- Long cord, 3 to 4 feet should work but preferably 5 to 6 feet

- Not a fire hazard

- Not cheap crap

I'm only finding things like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092YTLYC7/

(too many USBs, not a "strip")

or this https://www.amazon.com/Yintar-Protector-Outlets-Extension-Essentials/dp/B08MTBCXWX/

(not enough outlets)

Posted in "Power Supplies" because i don't know where else I should put this post

Edited for more requirements. Doesn't have to be the best of the best (don't want to spend over $40) but not that second one, just using it as an example.

Long cord is really a problem, I feel like all the "good ones" have short cords

give or take $10.

Hmm....

Tell you something. They're all the same, only the looks differ. Unless of course you go for a $0.50 strip from a convenience store.

What's inside is the same in all of them, a bunch of contacts, a switch (optional) and MOVs. Some use only one (L1+N) and others 3 (L1+N, L1+E, N+E) but they work the same regardless.

Avoid stuff with USB, first nobody really uses it and second it adds more failure points. Not worth.

I know Amazon is huge in first world countries but if you could find a store that *only* sells electrical supplies you should go there. An idea, I look seeing and touching the product I'm buying, if it's something like this I'd try all the sockets with a dummy plug, click the switch and check the cable. I like the ones with the 90° angled plugs as they don't clutter the area next to the wall socket as much as the normal ones, but that's just me.

Belkin is a reputable brand for sure don’t think I have seen anything bad about them company or product wise.
