So I have no idea where my cables are from icemodz, he shipped them June 7th and it should be 7-14 business day shipping, but I figured I'd of got them by now.   The tracking info hasn't been updated since the 7th either, so I'm most likely going to have to get in contact with USPS as well as icemodz.

 

Although he's on vacation.. So idk.

Good news everyone, I may not have to do an external loop after all.

 

I helped my Grandparents with a bunch of stuff today and got some money for it, if I can sell the other half of my ram kit somewhere I may have enough to start piecing together my loop!

My parents still owe me a lot of money as well, and my mom said she'd give me another payment on Thursday if all goes well.

 

I may be able to order the 360mm radiator I want, as well as a pump & reservoir with tubing and fittings + coolant.

 

Most likely I'm going to just cool the GPU first, since that gets me the biggest gains.

 

Then when I can I'll finish the loop with the 240mm rad + waterblock for CPU.

Watercooled GPU incoming, gonna use that 480mm I have leftover from my 900D that might leak or may not. Guess I'll find out when I get the supplies.

Quick update, stuff shows up Thursday.

My step-dad offered to buy me the 1080mm radiator I wanted without me even asking him to, so that should be ordered sometime this week.

Now if someone buys my ram in the classifieds I can buy the cpu block from a friend on LTT, and then I'll have my whole loop done real soon.

So I got 99% of the stuff I need today, (reservoir kit, fittings, tubing, silver kill coil etc)

 

 

But I forgot to buy a pump top to use with my reservoir kit.  DERP.

 

Will have to order that next week sometime, hopefully with 2-3 day shipping so I can get it when the 1080mm radiator shows up.

Can't you use the pump without the top?

You can use a Coke bottle like Luke did in Scrapyard Wars just to test.
