Posted July 17, 2014 Hi, So I just got my Asus G750JM last week and today I had a live bug crawling behind my panel, I know it's not on the screen because I tried wiping it gently and putting my mouse over it. I'm pretty sure it's not covered by the warranty and to be honest I'd like to not go through the hassle of finding out by sending it back and waiting for it to come back. The laptop usual is on a desk, I had once moved it to watch a movie near the window and it might have crawled in from there. Here is what it looks like. I couldn't find a teardown on ifixit, and I can't find out how to remove the screen from the laptop to inspect it and possibly blow the bug with dry air. Also I'd like to know what sort of glue I could use to put back the rubber things on each side of the screen, I'd really like to not lose them. Thanks. Posted July 17, 2014 Author After removing the 4 screws on each side the frame doesn't pop off, it's actually really hard to remove and I may damage it. Posted July 17, 2014 Author I appreciate the serious answers. It's an Asus ROG G750JM-T4051H and apparently they are not doing this model with the i7 and 16GB or RAM anymore so I can't just exchange it. The lower model has just an i5 and 8GB of RAM while the higher model has a 880m instead of a 860m, but if I had the money to go for the 880m model I would've done it already. Right now I'm mad, because they can't even exchange it with the same model. My dream in life is to live of quality internet fiber and junk food.
