How do you cool off in summer days?Yes it include your pc too :D

For me is fairly easy.Where i sit i have a lot of cover from the trees around the house so the ambient temperature is around 20-27 degrees celsius even if outside the temperature sometimes reach 35 degrees or even more.If i need something cool well...BEER here i come!About my pc...is a little more complicated i made some sort of air conditioning from an old fridge compressor.How about you?How you handle the heat?

I have a thermos of ice water next to my desk constantly. Cold things placed on your wrist can also help cool you off quickly!

I always keep the lights in my room off. It gets hot in here when they're on. That's all I do. My temps don't go crazy during the summer time, maybe 1-2 degrees. My 750 Ti still keeps 30c at idle, and 50-55c while gaming, and the CPU is the same just 5-10 degrees hotter than the GPU. Ambient temperature is 23c.

crank that AC. thinking of taking off the OC on my 7950. I left bf4 running to help my dad with stuff for 4ish hours, came back to my room being a oven because of a 7950 at 79*C pumping out a stupid amount of heat:P

A couple jugs of water, sit in front of a fan. as for my computer it is kind of crappy.as the apartment gets around 100 degrees Fahrenheit and it is against the rental agreement to have a window AC unit. So when i am home i am screwed.

For my PC: I take the side panel off, take it out of under the desk and put a gigantic fan next to it.

I drink a lot of liquids (water, Pepsi, Mountain Dew), and my Dell has a heatsink that's as good/better than the one AMD has with heatpipes and a crazy ass leafblower of a blower fan.

 

And it sounds like a Jetta TDI.

I have a Norwegian A/C unit. Cools the entire house with huge plastic piping. Have one for my PC, and it stays waaay under 80. Because it's a 100W TDP Q6600.

 

For me? I just pour ice over my face.

If anyone lives somewhere dry like the south U.S., or anywhere swamp coolers are used, I suggest you google making your own swapm cooler. While it's more work than a "redneck ice method", it is really cheap and worth it to do. All it will cost to run is a fan powered on and some water here and there, nothing major. And no freezing anything The best part is, it help eliminate electrostatic discharge potential since it humidifies the air. Great bonus if you house isn't alread cooled by one. 

They only work in low humidity areas though

Yes it will, but it is less of a portable solution, and is generally a bit bigger. the ice method would be great for a stay. A swap cooler is a bit messy to carry around. But it could be done yes. 

With  the ice method you could go down to the local store and get a foam cooler and bottles of water or a bag of ice and a fan and you'll be in business. 

Swap coolers are great for camping tents though. People make them out of trash cans and use a large vent pipe to attack it to tents or trucks/rvs

A great portable ice cooler solution if you only have access to bags of ice is to use a fountain pump attached to a small radiator with fans. this is a method people with small planes use. 

Just pout bags of ice in to keep a cold ice water slush going, and pour some out and add more ice every so often.

I have a bunch of old computer 120mm fans and an old 400W PSU. The solution? I plug in the fans, I short the PSU using the paperclip method, and then I switch on the PSU. I use tech to cool off my face. They are right in front of me.

Last time i used a fan to blow in to my face i got a very bad neck problem and i was like a stick for about 2 weeks
