Make sure the power button is not stuck in the on position. Had that happen to one of my systems, all of a sudden it started looping. It would turn on then shut down, then turn on...continuously. Found that the power button on the case got stuck in the on position on the case.

I agree with @sarptekbas. I only use APC ups's. I've tried other brands because they were cheaper, but most of them, the battery would die without any warning, and only find out when the power has gone out and every thing has shut off. I have about 6 units, all APC's and have only had to change batteries about every 3-5 years on them, and they will notify you when they detect that the batteries are starting to die.

Have you seen Linus's review yet, though he doesn't compare to the 1070 but to the 2060/2070's?

Which One is the power switch connector on motherboard
mmk replied to Kokomo's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Not knowing which MB you have, I would guess that 23 is the power switch as it indicates BOOT, but I could be wrong? -
the canada post site didn't recognize my tracking number...
mmk replied to jefersonfischer's topic in Off Topic
That doesn't look like a Canada Post tracking number. Should be either 11, 12, 13 or 16 digit number. You have 18? https://www.canadapost.ca/web/en/kb/details.page?article=learn_about_tracking&cattype=kb&cat=receiving&subcat=tracking -
I've had this problem a few times. All I did was in device manager, any of the usb ports that had the exclamation mark, I would tell device manager to remove/uninstall it then reboot. Seemed to fix the problem.

Pretty sure that they won't have any traces that close to the edge and you can see that the contacts are a fair bit away from that corner also.

I would hazard a guess and say that if it is working fine, that you are OK and probably will not get a shortened life on the cpu.

https://www.lttstore.com/ Not much there yet.

You guys have probably thought of this already, but since the expo is downtown at the convention center, perhaps you can hit up the Pan Pacific and some of the other decent hotels in the west end and see if they would be willing to offer some discounts on hotel stays for the convention visitors attending?

Any suggestions for getting from Seattle to Vancouver?
mmk replied to SpacePeanut's topic in LTX Expo
Can always fly to Vancouver via Seattle. Pretty sure there are daily flight between the two cities. Also can take Amtrak from Seattle to Vancouver, not sure of the schedule, or rent a car, it's only a couple hour drive or so.
