How do you cool off in summer days?Yes it include your pc too :D

nanowatt

I got a fan, opened my side of my PC, and blasted the fan in there. Needless to say, it snuggled a few SATA connectors out, while it was on. My monitor was throwing random artifacts at me.

I never feel really hot. It could be 25c out and I'll still be wearing a vest. I still sleep under two blankets in the hottest weeks (30-35c) of the summer.

I do drink a lot more though, just to help my body regulate the temperature even if I don't feel hot.

My PC mostly functions as an FTP backup server and a webserver for testing purposes so that's not really cooled extra.

My laptop I usually open up and free of dust on the heatsink, because I usually notice some throttling on that in the hot days. It's always so much better after cleaning it.

Its a laptop. 100°C kind of normal :D. Although my laptop with a dual core pentium and no graphics card only gets 80°C^^

My room is the coldest in the entire house. It is unusually cool at about 7-10 degrees lower than the rest, so I don't do anything.

i just open all the windows at night and close them in the morning. tends to keep things at a livable temp throughout most of the day as long as i keep the sun out.

heard some kinda science thing where if you put an ac unit in the attic itll keep the whole house cool.  apparently heat rises so if the highest part of the house is cold, itll cause an updraft forcing the heat out of the rest of the house.  seems legit?  may give it a shot this summer

as for my computer, i just turn it off when im not actively using it, helps a lot

I have a Norwegian A/C unit. Cools the entire house with huge plastic piping. Have one for my PC, and it stays waaay under 80. Because it's a 100W TDP Q6600.

For me? I just pour ice over my face.

I have a Q6600 and my temps idle are about 35-45 degrees and my temps under load are about 70.

I am using the stock cooler off of a core two duo e7500.

I want a new one for this system, even though i am not going to be using it for long.

Get nekkid!

I drink a lot of liquids (water, Pepsi, Mountain Dew), and my Dell has a heatsink that's as good/better than the one AMD has with heatpipes and a crazy ass leafblower of a blower fan.

And it sounds like a Jetta TDI.

Drove next to one yesterday, good god they smell terrible.

I have a window fan which intakes cool air at night and exhaust air during the day. (Pulling cooler air from the rest of our house into my room.) We usually have 2 window ACs in our house. (One upstairs and one in our family room.) Right now only the upstairs one is installed. I also have a ceiling fan.

As for my PC, lots of case fans and an AIO keep it nice and cool. As for my laptop, cooling mods and undervolting means it just stays nice and cool all the time. The CPU pretty much never goes above 150F/65C anymore. And that's on top of my bed. On a desk it stays even cooler under max load with the fans off/low. I've even taken the fan out completely just to prove that it can be cooled sufficiently without it. (That was on a desk and I use my laptop on my bed a lot so obviously I put it back in.) As for my netbook, it has a 2.5 watt CPU. Not gonna overheat. (Overclocked to 2GHz too.)

For me, I have a couple bottles of water fresh from the freezer from the night before. For my computer, I take off a side panel and sometimes stick a fan blowing at it or I'll just leave the side panel off.

I stay in a cold place, in the summer the warmest temperature is usually no higher than 25°C. The average temperature in the summer is probably 16-18°C.

I have no problem keeping myself or the PC cool. I particularly enjoy the winter, the lower ambient temperature means even better overclocking potential.

'Cuz they're "clean diesel." A real diesel (like my dad's truck) doesn't really smell much at all and (unlike most teenagers with diesels) doesn't spew black when you floor it. The 1980's were a good time for Chevy trucks. :D

I totally disagree. The real diesel trucks are the worst. They spew waaaay too much black when you floor. Old school trucks are the worst.

Nope. Pretty much a bone stock 6.2L. If you count making your own glow plugs as being souped, then it is. And we removed the 55MPH limit on the tranny that the truck came from the army with. SO. SLOW.
