while i am building my pc on the floor, My cup if water is on the desk fell on my mobo. Now i am using a hair dryer to dry it...

Let it dry for at least two or three days before even plugging in any sort of power source. Go over it once more with a paper towel right before you try it in a couple days

your going to damage it by doing that put it in a pile of rice ASAP

Leave it to dry for a couple of days. As long as it's not powered while wet/moist, you will be fine.

There is no need to use rice or anything, just don't try to power it, don't even think about hooking up any connectors.

Oh snap, that sucks. I would stop using that dryer if I were you. Let it air dry or something else that is less harmful.

Let a fan blow at it for a couple of days, best a week and hope for the best. also remove the CMOS battery!
