So the title says it all, Have you ever won a giveaway? I joined a twitch stream once where a guy was doing a giveaway with only 9 viewers and i won a $10 RP card heh but other than that they seem to be a bit of a waste of time (unless you have time to waste).

I went to a high school basketball game and during the game they sold raffle tickets for a chance to shoot a half-court shot and win like $1000. I won the raffle but since I was like 8 at the time, I had no chance of actually making the half-court shot :(

I have won my share of things over the years in giveaways but nothing that was worth over $100 that is for sure.

With the small YouTube channels and Twitch Streams doing the giveaways are usually asking for subs and followers. Then when the giveaway is done, the "new" subs are now gone looking for a new YouTube channel doing the same thing.

I bought the Ultimate edition of Fallout 3 and sent it to a stranger on Steam once, he sent me a copy of Divinity: Dragon Commander, not sure if that counts as a 'giveaway' but there you have it.
