Hey guys, so I dropped my phone in the toilet (don't ask how, and it was clean water too) and immediately got it out of the water. When I took it out, I turned the screen on to turn the phone off and everything was working then (touchscreen and the screen.) I then wrapped it in a towel to dry it. Also, because the phone was working fine, I didn't think of putting it rice. After an hour or so, I had to leave my house so I got my phone, turned it on and went on with my day with no problems until I went to charge it. While the phone is on, it does not charge at all. While the phone is of

That's exactly what I did too. I went to the first computer store and got hired. Posting that you want a job on a technology forum isn't gonna do shit. Go out and apply to places. You just need some money for personal expenses so just take the first job that hires you and work for a couple of months and quit when you have the money or if you like it enough, keep working there. @AluminiumTech

Lol. I'm not a dumbass. I grabbed it out of the toilet and immediately turned it off. It's a One Plus One so I couldn't take the battery out. Then I put it in a towel wiped it off turned it on and all is well. No problems. 5-6 hours later, I tried to charge it, it didn't charge. I them put it in a bag of rice for 30 minutes and it charge. I'm using the phone to type this right now:)

Especially after this, I think they are pretty bad. I'm then gonna call them crooks if they want any money to replace the phone.

I put it in a bag of rice and it charged!!! So I'm back on my original phone.

Hey guys so this morning I dropped my phone in the toilet (don't ask how) and it worked but it wouldn't accept a charge. So, I saw this is a perfect time to try an iPhone out for the first time ever. My girlfriend had an old iPhone 4s and that's what I used. I popped my sim card in it and restored the phone and signed in. I installed the apps that I wanted and sent some testing texts to some people. All is well. Then i get a notification for an update (9.1) and so I download it. It installed after about an hour and a half. The turned back on and boom no cell service. Restart the phone, get ser

No it does not turn on. As soon as I turn the switch on the PSU to a closed circuit, the hdds start spinning and USB gets power and the HDDs start spinning. I have not pressed the on button in front of the case. When I do hit the on button, nothing happens.
-
Yes. Its the same thing. I should also add, as soon as I plug power into the PSU, without pressing the on switch in the front of the case, it does this.

I built it about 3-4 months ago so its not brand new. I was switching out the graphics cards and it worked fine. Then I went back to the original graphics card and now the computer gets power (the HDDs spin and USB ports gives power) but no fans in the case work. Power button does nothing. I'm thinking the damn motherboard shorted out or something. Its a As rock extreme 3 This isn't the first problem I've had with it. The first time, the CMOS battery died after 1 month. All help is much appreciated. Things I've done: checked CMOS battery, reseat ram and graphics card, unplugged all hard d

6th gen consoles still incredibly playable in 2015!

Oh hell yea. There are so many great games that you can get and buy a ps2 for a fraction of the cost of ps4 with no game. -
I have a Roku 3 in my bedroom and a chromecast in my living room. I use the Roku 3 so much more than the chromecast. I like it a lot better.

So, if you don't pay them at all, you get charged with a late fee (usually about $25 even if you owe $.01) plus interest. If you pay the $10, which is the minimum payment, saves you from the late fee, but you still pay interest. To be honest, you should have looked these things up before getting a credit card. These are basic vocabulary about credit cards. Word of advice, if you don't have the money in your bank account to pay for, then don't put it on the credit card.

I can somewhat understand that some people don't know what a CPU is but not knowing when to do a fucking oil change in your car. That shit gets me.

Hey guys, I got a quick question. I have a 98 Camry and maybe 3-4 times a month, when I start the car, instead of cranking, it's just a high pitched screeching sound coming from under the hood. I would then take the key out and put it back in and sometimes it will do the same thing so then I take the key out and put it in again and then the car starts right up. It has never done it three times in a row. Do you guys know of anything?
