Buying a new CPU

I want to buy the Ryzen 7 7800x3d, but i heard that in about 2/3 months Ryzen will announce new CPU's. Do you guys recon that the 7800x3d is still worth it to buy today, or is it smart to wait till the new releases

Well are you still satisfied with your current pc? If you are might as well wait for the new cpus and upograde then.

the new X3D CPUs won't be released until Q1 2025 but more likely Q2 2025 so If you're building a new system I'd get the 7800X3D

The new 8000 Series CPUs won't be X3D so they either won't perform as good as the 7800X3D or they'll perform similarly but you'll be 3 months without a CPU or a system

Is this a new system or an upgrade?

If the latter, what're the current system specs?

Message me on discord (bread8669) for more help

Try next week. Last I heard it was going to be announced the start of Computex, so June 3rd.

Granted, those aren't the new X3D chips, those will come a few months later, but these might drive down the price of last gen parts.
