$8000 full watercooled trifire... wasted

Sonefiler
Go to solution Solved by MG2R,

This thread is the exact opposite of what was envisioned when this forum

was first created. This forum was intended as a place where newbies are

welcome. Where people can ask a question without being yelled at. A

place with a nice atmosphere.

90% of all responses in this thread do not adhere to that vision and are

basically not contributing to a friendly atmosphere at all. It's because of

threads like these that newbies often don't feel welcome and are too

scared to ask for help, which in turn results in builds like the one this

thread is about.

I'd advise all of you to look back in time and question yourself if you were

all-knowing when you first started building computers. Look in the mirror

and honestly answer yourself the question "did I ever make any mistakes?".

Maybe it can help you start being nicer to people that do make them.

We talked this over, and because of all of the above, I'm locking this thread.

It doesn't adhere to the "don't be a dick" rule and, honestly, I'm saddened

by the fact that a thread like this was needed on the forums.

... ... ... ... My word... ... DEAR FRIZZLY JESUS FROSTING CHRIST!!!

Seeing that actually angered me to a certain degree. 93 degrees is seriously bad... i can run 4.8ghz on the same damn chip and max out at between 75-81 depending on the house temps.. and the cable management/tubing runs... where do i even start!

10/10 would not tap.

On a serious note, this is the worst PC that I have seen to date. It doesn't matter that it's $8000. It's pure and utter shit. I would not even want to own this PC due to the fact that I would be ashamed of the cable management.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

You guys know the Infinite Monkey Theorum which states that a monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter keyboard for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type a given text, such as the complete works of William Shakespeare...

I feel like if a monkey was given infinite time to put together a computer it would end up like this.

No monkeys aren't stupid enough to make something like this. You have to be human to achive something like that.

Gpu/s does not have any problems with heat even at the highest load.

Only the main gpu is currently working

He's right, I imagine that there is not much of a heat problem if only one of the three actually work

I used velcro and gorilla tape to mount SSDs

SSD's are one thing, all the cables in the case are somewhat different.

I disagree,

So... While helping someone in the PSU section i looked up 1500W+ PSUs that were modular on PCPartPicker. I selected the LEPA G series one and looked at the build that showed up at the "builds that used this part" section. Oh dear lord, it's the most wasteful computer in the world.

First of all, he has a modular PSU and he leaves in ALL THE CABLES.

He has Raid 10 for GAMING. He thinks Raid 10 is professional! No, Raid 6/7/60/70 is for professionals.

He thinks that the reason his watercooled CPU hits 93C is because of a "bad bin". No dude, it's because your loop sucks.

Stop that computer, 93C is about as good for that CPU as heroin!

His picture taking skills are horrendous.

He has a HAF X and he puts a radiator hanging out of the back. Are you serious?

HE USED GORILLA TAPE FOR CABLE MANAGEMENT HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

His inside of his case looks like a two year old was given a PC case, a ton of tubes, and told "do what you liked"

I could go on and on and on, but you can see for yourself. http://pcpartpicker.com/b/xbWZxr#cx405213

"System is used for very high fps gaming." this is my personal favorit LOL
