DDR4 ships when Broadwell lga 1150 comes out. Of course 2011-3 Haswell-E is getting it first. It'll be on skylake too.

But on topic, this isn't the Ghz wars anymore. More about per core performance. My 4770k is at 4.1 right now with no voltage change at all. I'll push it further when my custom loop parts get in. 4.1 isn't that impressive any more.

Yup sure. K bud. Have fun with that. They could be binning 4770k's and getting stock speeds to run at 4.1. It's not gonna improve the chips but just lessen the overclocking headroom. Think of how the 290x reference cooler did it. As high as clocks and temperatures as possible and basically no OC headroom. 

 

And even then, when 80% I5 usage is used in some intensive games, why would a 5ghz I7 even matter. What like 2 fps increase?

I'm not trying to bash on you but lately I've been seeing LTT's community become more and more like that of sketchy forums like Toms Hardware, and people like you who are always building up tension in every single thread really aren't helping in keeping the forum informative, friendly and reliable like it always has.

I'm on my phone so can't zoom in for some reason, but that doesn't prove that you used air cooling, doesnt look like it shows temps (could be wrong can't see shit), let alone does it prove that's even yours. But like I said, this is irrelevant whether you achieved it or not. If you did, good job.
