Yeah, the A10 is one of the most awesome military aircraft ever built - essentially a plane built around a giant gun. I've always been curious how it would fare in a dog fight. I know it's not all that fast, but it is maneuverable and all it would take is to get one quick bead on the enemy's aircraft and that would be it.

The F-15 is also said to be one tough son of a you-know-what - able to fly with a missing wing as well. Crazy...

If the A-10 lands a hit with its main gun in a dogfight... whoever's on the receiving end is fucked.

it can also climb to 20000ft in 2 and a half minutes! , also can fly at 3,470 km/h, 2,170 mph

Mig SERIES? Mikoyan Gurevich is a design bureau, silly. They made aircraft ranging from simple piston fighters to the latest varianta of the -29 that could be considered a 4++ gen fighter, and even made 5 gen prototype, the 1.44 .

MiG-29 Fulcrum just for the sexiness factor, but the A-10 Warthog comes a close second for sheet firepower. If we're going legacy on this one, the Avro Arrow wins it in my books. SR-71 and B-2A are runner ups despite their super niche roles.

I would love to do that, imagine a sight that you'd see and also being broad daylight you look above you and you'd see the blackness of space. To me that sounds like a goddamn beautiful sight.

The MiG-25 Foxbat has an absolute maximum speed of 2,170mph but that will cause damage to the engines, the maximum speed where the engines won't be f**ked is 1,920mph.

Here is another one of my favourites, I saw one of these for sale a little while ago.

SAAB JAS 35 Draken, I love the shape of those wings, looks bloody stunning :)

Also come across some of these that are for sale, including a very nice Mikoyan MiG-23 Flogger for $260,000 amd a MiG-25 Foxbat for $1.8 million :)

Eurofighter Typhoon as in my profile picture (taken at an air show). I love when it does a performance take off, it's like a rocket! Just goes straight up. I am also in agreement with the F35 issue raised as well. Not just because I love the Typhoon and I don't want it replaced but also that the F35 makes no sense, the only benefit being VTOL which looking at some posts and articles doesn't really work that well.

So yes my favourite is the Eurofighter Typhoon
