Hi!

This email is legitimate. Please reply!

Hi all,

just got a very interesting  Mail from LTTStore.

This looks very fake. Don't answer it !

Thought about waiting for the Support Team to get back to me.

But better to be wrong than sorry.

Take care all of you :)

Hi thanks for Answering.

First of all I think, if this would be a requirement I'm sure he would told so on the Show.
As far as I know, he did not tell anything about that.

Next the way the Mail is formatted. This screams SCAM-Mail to me.
Big FAT Text and a deadline. Don't miss it be QUICK.
This is 100% from the Scammers Handbook.

And the last Point the signature from the sending SMTP-Server does not match the LTTStore Server.
I'm pretty sure LTT would not make that mistake.
But this is why I'm posting because I'm not sure.

Hi Thanks for clearing this up.
But I was like 95% sure this was a SCAM Mail.

You should have wrote something on the Forum or Store or in the WAN Show.

Normally I just would press the "Junk" Button and send the Mail to the Trash.

But thanks again 🙂

But how would they know that you ordered a CPU pillow?

A spam email isn't necessarily going to "know". They might assume something, like purchasing a common product and banking that someone falls for it. Regardless, that's separate from your comment about it "clearly" being Adam's email address. Based on the post, we have no idea if he actually purchased a CPU Pillow or not, and the OP made no comment on it either.

With that said, the email does say that no personal information is required, and the only thing it's asking for is a response to the multiplication problem at the end. So even if it was fake, it seems like it would be pretty low risk to respond regardless of the knowledge of it being legit or not.

That’s what I was trying to get at, it’s an “LTT” email, and it’s not like it’s asking for personal info

The part of your comment that I was responding to was specifically about you saying it "clearly" came from Adam's LTT email...Emails can be spoofed. You cannot just go by the email to indicate that it's legit. It has to make sense. LTT can be hacked and taken down just like any other company, and it would be unwise to assume that they're unaffected by hackers.

I wouldn't know who Adam was.  I doubt many do.  Also, they should mention on the product page that, if you win, you will be getting an email asking a math question.

Hey OP, out of curiosity, when did you receive the email and when did you place your order? I placed my order on the 17th during the livestream. I’ve yet to get an update on my order.

I can't believe you hacked LTT just to prove a point.

I went on today, and I saw that banner and remembered my post from yesterday. Kinda weird that it lined up like that - almost like someone was waiting or something lol.

Hi folks,

Since there was some confusion over whether our initial outreach email was legitimate, I thought I'd go ahead and post an update here. I've sent out a reminder email to around 20 people today that looks like this.

Unlike the original, this email will be coming from support@lttstore.com.

Thanks Adam - I am guessing that if we received the initial email from adam@lttstore.com but not the follow up from support@lttstore.com then you received our responses OK?

Almost as cool as my temps
