It's the first 3D 4K TV on the market so you know, it's going to have a slightly higher price than future models.

There's probably like 30 of these tvs, the list of people and companies that would buy this is extremely small.

Intel 4670K /w TT water 2.0 performer, GTX 1070FE, Gigabyte Z87X-DH3, Corsair HX750, 16GB Mushkin 1333mhz, Fractal R4 Windowed, Varmilo mint TKL, Logitech m310, HP Pavilion 23bw, Logitech 2.1 Speakers

Samsung gave it a price of 150k so does that help at all?

Well the point of the tv isn't practical. It's a showpiece. Just like a mansion. No one uses 40 rooms, but it's just to show how ballin' you are.

with a different model in every room, and they move to random rooms every night.

Who you sleep with every night is a surprise.

Sounds like an awful time to me man. I never really understood the appeal of different women all the time.

I mean you could have your main woman and the random one in a threesome.

For most guys it's an instinctual thing, trying to pass on your genes to as many different women as possible.

It's not like a cell phone contract, you're anything but locked in to one option.

Why would you want a 110 inch that thing has a PPI of 40 which about the same as a 47 inch 1080p TV.

Sounds like you answered your own question. You get the picture quality of a 47inch, but you get it in 110 inches.

Size of the panel would make it expensive let alone the fact its 4k "120hz" (probably 60 with some overdrive feature) and it's packed with features (most which effect functionality at the detriment of performance)

Mark Cuban would pay that. It's a 4k, 3D, LED LCD TV that measure over 9 feet diagonally. It's not intended for your average consumer.

You are forgetting that this would never be used in a normal living room. The bigger the screen, the further away you are supposed to sit. This thing probably has a recommended viewing distance of 30 feet or greater, like you would see in a home theater. The lower pixel density isn't noticeable at the longer viewing distances.

I'm curious as to whenever NCIX actually has at least one of this in stock, it could make for a pretty successful heist, 4 man job it's still 50k

I wonder if anyone here having a dig at the price could engineer one identical in specs for less?  Or better yet find a competitor to Samsung that is significantly less.

And yes there is a huge difference in picture quality between a cheap tv and something made by Sony, Samsung or LG. (can't believe I'd ever hear myself say that last one, I was around when they hit the shelves with their own branded stuff)

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.
