Posted April 16, 2014 NCIX: http://bit.ly/1mhTNrJ Amazon: http://georiot.co/20BB The U28D590D or 590D for short from Samsung is the monitor that's bringing 4K into the realm of affordability for desktop users. It's 28", boasts 1ms GTG pixel response times, and support for 1B colors... But is it really as perfect as it seems??
 Posted April 16, 2014 Is there any particular reason no one's pushing for a 60 - 120hz 1ms-3ms response time monitor with an IPS Pannel and 4k Resolution .. G-Sync on top of that would be awesome. I'd pay 1000$ For this. @LinusTech Heaven's Society - Like Anime? Posted April 16, 2014 To ya'll: Don't cry it's not IPS. TN isn't bad, calibrate it right and you have a good looking affordable 4K monitor with a low reponse time.. A great monitor and certaintly a step in the right direction for 4K.

Posted April 16, 2014 Can't wait for mine to show up...the review certainly puts my mind at a bit more ease since we all know how picky Linus is. Was a bit nervous when I hit that order button this past weekend. Now I am just excited. More resolution with less monitors! My desk is going to feel awkwardly empty though I have a feeling I'll want to create a custom mount for this thing though. That stock seems kind of crappy. 3930k | RIVBE | 32GB Dominator Plat. | Titan XP | Intel 750 1.6TB | Mellanox 10Gb NIC | AX1200i Custom TJ07 | 2xD5 pumps | EK Supremacy EVO | EK Titan XP | EK RIVBE Block | Cu Tubing | 25x120mm Rad Samsung U28D590D 4K | Leopold Otaku w/Browns | Corsair M65 | Corsair SP2500 | Sennheiser HD595
 Posted April 16, 2014 Great review! Personally, I'm waiting for the ASUS ROG SWIFT! If I hadn't been using a 120hz monitor before I would probably just go straight to 4K monitors, since there would be no trade-offs cause they are all 60hz. Regardless, I believe that 1440p will take my gaming to the next level, especially with 120+hz and G-Sync!
 I'd pay 1000$ For this. @LinusTech It's because IPS is stupidly slow. IPS will never work for gaming, and TN isn't even a bad panel type, just that companies use cheap TN panels, instead of high quality calibrated TN panels. | CPU: Intel Core i7 2600k | Mootherboard: ASUS P8z68v-Pro | GPU: EVGA GTX780Ti 3GB | RAM: Kingston HyperX Genesis 8GB (4GBx2) 1600mhz | PSU: Corsair AX760 | STORAGE: Samsung 840 Pro 512GB | COOLER: Noctua NH-C14 | CASE: Fractal Design Define R4 Pearl Black | Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit |
