I tried it in the Beginning too but lost Interest somewhere after a couple of Episodes because I had a bad feeling about it. Though my Feeling was more in the Akame ga Kill direction in regards to the casing. If you know what I mean...

I have yet to watch Darling in the Franxx, but by some of the reviews I saw and the talks about the ending.  Sounds like Trigger was trying to make the ending be like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann near the end.

 

Anyway, bought Mob Psycho 100 and powered watch the crap out of it.  Darn, talk about a visual treat.  May do a 2nd watch again here soon.  Can't wait for Season 2 next year.  Plan to finish up Violet Evergarden this weekend.  Really enjoying it so far.

 

On the other hand, I'm a bit leery about season 2 of One Punch Man.  Madhouse is not going to be doing the animation. ....kind of a bummer.

DiTFxx is very much a Trigger anime (although A1 did collaborate with them on the project).  You'll see allusions to their past ones all over.  That being said episodes 0-19 are very solid especially the beginning ones.  The ending I won't spoil it but yeah they pretty much do the Trigger thing.

I'm aware of the ending, reason I state the whole trying to be like Toppa Gurren (which is a Gainex film).

I may get around to watching the whole thing, but then again, rather just rewatch Kill La Kill by Trigger instead.

I've watched both the Japanese and English dubs. As with most anime, I find this statement to be bullshit.

 

The Japanese dub was horrible compared to the English dub, as an English speaker. I detest Japanese overacting, it's just so god damn fucking shitty.

I disagree.

I really don't like the way the english cast speaks in engl. Dub ANime.
But it seems like you don't like the Japanese Langauge (yet), yeah, was the same with me. Couldn't stand it. But then I watchet to love-ru wich was not available in English. And that great show was the first I've watched in english and after that I didn't watch anything in english no more....

 

Anyway, thing is:
With the Original it is the way the director wants it to. With the Dub, obviously, its not the case. I know that because I'm german and I had to endure some really shitty German Dubs in some Shows like Star Trek the Next Generation (though the dubs were better back in those days)...

 

So its possible that the director wanted it the way it is, you can like it or hate it but that's how it is.

False. I detest Japanese dubbed anime. Beyond that, I listen to Japanese music, groups like Wowaka and Hifana. I watch snippets of Japanese TV. Both of these, are quite enjoyble. Hearing Japanese people talk as they do normally, is not an annoyance akin to nails on a black board. It's explicitly Japanese dubbed anime.
