So you may or may not have seen already but Goblin Slayer is getting an anime:

 

There isn't a lot of material to be honest with only 27 chapters so I have feeling it's going to be rather slow and end rather boringly. Yeah it's awesome to see an adaptation of it but there isn't any part overly exciting in my opinion and will probably be as boring as most of Overlord S2.

nah, its a much better show than SAO. its a completely reworked pitch on SAO. 2 hours have been cut out and new touches in the animations have been added. its a way better watch than SAO. (i say as ive watched it 4 times, and its just as good each time)

BTW if anyone's interested in learning reading and understanding japanese using anime.

I can really recommend Animelon btw it's free so that's why i'm using it.

Lol im planing to re learn japanese before my second trip to japan next year. Gonna re visit my old lecture.

 

last year i lived off venting machine and 7 eleven that spits out a number of your order for like 2 weeks.i did went to this apprent popular raman resturant and this wagyu restaurant, but got no idea how to order soo took me and my mate like 20 mins  to order something as we are not quite fulent in reading kanji and harigana let alone speak

Same here ( i mean like your friend  ) but yeah been there twice now and planning to go in 2020 again.

Been to Tokyo and Kyoto, Osaka is next and i will go back to do a mountain tour on the motorcycle .

but then i really need to learn the language so if you have any other ways to learn, please let me know .

I wouldn't solely rely on it but for daily practice and quick breaks I hear that duolingo is not bad

Using duolingo is basically just keep pushing buttons until you stumble on the right answer. not a huge fan of that. you cant fail.

Ooh, 2020? Hope you're not planning on going during the summer unless you want to be raided by tourists visiting Japan both for the actual country and for the olympics . 

Unless of course, one of the reasons for the trip is for the olympics.

not specifically for the olympics but my friend was planning a trip then without even knowing..

I'll just be tagging along with them.

i have used Duo Lingo and Memrise, Memrise is good for more story driven learning.

Duolingo is okay for drilling in some Kanji, but for remembering test yourself with flashcard apps.

 

Also Steam has games like Katakana Wars etc.

Just watched the first episode of Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime). I've read the manga and I'm glad it was adapted into an anime. I just hope that 8-bit does a good job animating it since it has some pretty good fight scenes later on.

Season 2 had a better ending. Three was kinda disapointing...

Goblin Slayer got an anime! First episode looks pretty good so far, and I'm hoping they don't censor too much of the blood and gore.

 

 

Oh and the new season of SAO is out, if you are into that.
