what is the graphic card for xbox one and ps4?

i know its APU based

About a a ddr3 7750 to 7770 on xbox one, maybe a little less due to resource allocation, and 7850 on ps4

More like 7790 its certainly not a 7850

7750 - 7790 for the xbox one with ddr3   and 7850 for the ps4

I'm going by relative performance not what the hardware is, (consololol optimization)

its bewteen the 7790 and 7850 but performance just over a reference 7850 it I recall

i got this from wikipedia

"consisting of 18 compute units (CUs) for a total of 1,152 cores (64 cores per CU)" "It is a customized version of AMD's 7870 GPU, with 2 CUs disabled"

so its in between a 7850 and a 7870

It uses a GCN integrated jaguar solution.

Performance-wise it would be similar to a 7850, however it has different type of cores, this are meant to be cooler and low power. It's a custom card, not what you would find on the store shelves.

Yea from what I've read the PS4 is around a 7850 performance wise, and the xbox One is slightly lower than that.

If it was a 7850 or 7870 the performance would be better the performance I have seen from the console looks more like a 6000 series card.

pc gamers can enjoy a variable frame rate

consoles devs need to stick to one so that means that minimum framre rates should never go below a desired limit (30 fps or 60fps)

games are fined tuned to take every last bit of performance that consoles can give ( they dont set it to medium and leave it at that)

also u have to take in account that the ps4 is using 8 cores that are used on budget laptops and tablets  clocked at 1.6ghz and game developers are only allowed to use 6 of them

sheesh even my my laptop has 2x 7970s in which are the equal of 2x 7850 desktop cards (although it was alot more money than a ps4, but it is 2 years old)

 

Its quite amazing what they can do with pretty paltry hardware, I wish there was like a PS4/XBONE XL model which had scaled up hardware that would be interesting to see if it sold

Your kidding right most of the stuff there is invalid why do you think schools,colleges and universitys advice students not to use wikipedia as a source.

Most of the time. I was doing a project on this explorer and it said he died of explosive diarrhea.

The Head of Anatomy linked directly to a Wikipedia page for one of our lectures and when a know it all like you said "Wikipedia isn't reliable" he shot back with "Wikipedia is as reliable as the articles that Wikipedia pages cite. If the articles are sound, the information is sound. Wikipedia is the best place to get a general overview of anything and everything, not using it is a mistake"

Also, you're*. period after invalid. Advise*. 

If you're gonna lecture us on what sources to use and not use, damn well make sure you aren't typing like a 10 year old. 

 

Back on topic:

 

They are 7750-7850. Its all a custom solution. Who knows what they'll be able to extract out of such optimized hardware in a years time or 5 years from now. Lest we forget, the Xbox 360 used a 700 MHz GPU with 512mb of GDDR3, and look at what it started with and what it ended at.
