5500xt 8gb v 1660 super

I’m about to make a decision on buying a pc from micro center at the store now , one pc has 1660 super and costs 1000 while the other costs 900 and has 5500xt 8gb , the rest of the pc being equal between them , is it worth spending the extra 100 for 1660 super? I think not but want some quick opinion

I think the 5500XT would be equivalent to at least a gtx1650 super, so a gtx 1660 super should be better. Check out some YouTube videos comparing them.

1660 super is faster. $1000 for a PC with just a 1660 super? That should be illegal lol

Almost same performance, so if you need more vram, then go with team red or else pick team gr33n

go with the 1660 super, it'as faster than the 5500 xt ... the 5500 xt is about the same as a 1650 super ...

Depends on the pricing, the 1660 super is faster but like for 1 to 10 fps MAX depending on the game in question so if the super is the same price or just a little more expensive (e.g 50 bucks or so) then it would be wise for TS to buy the super. 

 

If in his region the super is like 80-100 dollars more expensive than the 5500xt then he should buy the 5500 xt
