I have a 3060Ti FE which comes with a 8 pin to 12 pin connector.

If I buy a 12 pin connector from corsair ( removing the adapter completely ) would I gain any performance or is it purely aesthetics ?

Fair enough. I was asking because the adapter that came with it only has 6 pins on the side which goes into the GPU which is strange as on the GPU it has 12 pins

I have the 3060ti FE and 3070 FE and both have the same cable.

i think its like that as the GPU doesn't use that much power.

my new cable has 2x 8pin to 12pin (as the corsair one you have linked to) so all the pins are connected now.

not sure what difference it makes, possible better OC? as moer power connected to it

Ah ok. I'll leave it be then. I don't plan on overlocking either.

Thing is the provided adapter should work fine, the other thing is you never plan on overclocking, it 'just happens'... ;)

But yeah the 3060ti doesn't have a huge power draw, it should be really ok. :)

I've changed my setup now and want a tidier looking cable.

Before I buy, have you tried your 12-pin cable in the 3060ti fe ?
