As much as I like strix, I stopped buying it in 20 series GPU because it's just so overpriced

Don't think I'm buying anything strix until I have spare cash

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

because white (or other light colors) make it feel more spacious. Plus, everything when exposed to enough UV light will turn white (or very light) at some point, so why not use all white to avoid having to witness that process?

if they use cyan most of lower wavelength rays still hurt the metal

Why are TV screens and computer monitors square and no longer oval like the old days?

why wouldn't they?

Well making the Screen circular or oval will limit it's user area now wouldn't it?

that's dumb

it's the size + resolution that matters.

otherwise, wouldn't ultra wide be the best choice?

A Square does have more viewable area. Ultra wide CRTs more expensive, which is why you didn't see very many of them.

The question (both mine and his) wasn't about why they aren't CRT anymore.

If i show you a 10" square VS a 24" Circle then wouldn't the circle be better?

Why would they be? Flat Panels do use less Energy and are a great easier to move and take up less Space.

??????????

Flat panels take MORE space than an oval screen.

Why would you move any screen? i don't move my television on a regular basis (come to think of it since i have it, about 1 year ago, i've moved it 0 times).

Less energy? well that depends on the amount of pixels.

WTF is the bad old days of computering

What if they made a flat panel oval? Or better yet.... Why don't they produce a flat panel oval TV?

Most content nowadays is 16:9 or 16:10

Would be weird to go back to 4:3 or 8:7
