What are good parts?

Hi everyone I was going to make a proxy server and some other servers, I was just wondering what parts I should use?

Hmm, but burn marks on components, dented and scratched case and so on could serve as a low-effort theft-deterrent, making the device simply not look like it's worth taking! Or maybe OP wants to go for a post-nuclear war aesthetics? Or maybe they just have a weird fetish for the smell of burned plastics?

Please explain your needs further. Giving us more info about what you have, what you are trying to achieve etc. gives us better possibilities to answer you. We aren't mindreaders, not paid professionals or anything like that.

Probably a CPU, motherboard, power supply, memory and storage. perhaps a case to put the parts in.

You're going to need:

- A gate chip

- Some wire

- Gatorade

- A Potato

 

that will create a simple computer.
