F@H Updated to V7.6, changelog?

I don't usually update software, unless it has security fixes or new features. I'm still running V7.5.1 and just noticed that V7.6 is public. Anyone have a link, or know of the changes?

Didn't see (or really look for) a changelog, but there's now COVID in the list of diseases as well as a "high priority" choice, the web control doesn't seem to perpetually reload in chrome anymore, and the ugly background image is gone... I imagine the viewer would now work, but verifying it would require me to actually get a WU :/

EDIT: Yup, works

They haven't added a section over at the official Forlding@Home support form for the new client yet

If you browse a bit on the Folding@Home GitHub pages you might be able to find a list of issues fixed with the new version.

But I imagine a list of changes might take a while to post as there is only one developer for the client who I suspect also writes the server code so he is likely a little busy these days.

I'll tell you one thing that changed for me...if I specify ANY password for the client, it gives me an invalid password for local client warning and Advanced Control just cycles between Connecting and Updating:

On client "local" 127.0.0.1:36330: Access denied, invalid password

If I save it as null (nothing in password field and then click Save), then no problems.

That's becasue unless you set localhost to have passwordless access if you set a password you then have to tell the advanced control to use that same password too... not new.

Seems like everybody's trying to download the new update. I'm only getting 500KB/s download when trying to download from the site.

Changelog can be found on the release post on the FAH forums.
