I changed my setting to 21 just to avoid that message.

can someone tell me why my laptop is prett much constantly working on CPU  WUs while my Desktop only gets GPU? Even after pausing and restarting every 2 hours I haven't gotten a CPU WU all day.

Because there are more resources for little 20mb cpu uploads than for 100mb gpu uploads...since all off the servers are overloaded due to the huge amount of new folders...

The ramp up curve of new servers is going slowly up

please elaborate. This doesn't really explain why the system doesn't send any of the CPU WUs to my Desktop, instead sending it to my Laptop which needs much more time to fold them.

yeah, that's buried in the release notes. In order to support the Ryzen 3000 series they had to drop support for some of the older CPUs as the BIOSes on the older boards don't have enough space

My GPU slot seems to be getting work units for project 11759.  It downloads them, Core22 launches, loads the work unit and fails immediately.  The project number description mentions this is a CPU project, so the fact that it's failing on the GPU makes sense.  It just seems odd that it's downloading and trying to run in the first place.  My GPU hasn't received a valid work unit in about twelve hours.  I've tried pausing and unpausing the GPU slot, and will try restarting everything when the current CPU work unit is complete.  Anybody else seeing this?

Since I have see quite a few nice rigs of the folding folcks, here my old case worth of pic right now, belong to my A8-5600K, rest of the computer are in standard cases. Bonus pic: a GA-E240N, a bizarre piece of old tech... can`t avoid the temptation of testing if it can do anything regarding to F@H20200329_155055cut.thumb.jpg.f37e51e16919860a61865858d347bed5.jpg

I thought when I updated my K7 for the 3600 it said you couldn't downgrade to the older BIOS versions?  Not like it really matters for me, I don't have a chip that would need it, just curious.

On another note, for some reason work servers keep failing to connect after saying they'd give me WUs lol.
