The ad isn't even relevant to me, since we're not allowed to import it here anyways.. But anyways, people made fun of me and others who find this annoying, so some don't see this as an issue.. Linus often being late for WAN show and being incredibly busy typically just doesn't have the time to eat before the show, judging by his response. Posted November 28, 2019 Yeah this is unlikely to change, nor would I ask them to do so. Some people have weird phobias. Yours is being triggered by certain sounds. That sucks, but you can either turn down the volume, or mute and turn on CC when he's eating. What do you do when you eat meals with other people? Expect everyone to eat in silence? Posted November 28, 2019 Y'all would hate the Rooster Teeth podcast where they have a steak-off. Or the AH podcast where they just eat because why the fuck not (there is also now a podcast based around new and limited time foods. however they don't film the eating, just the reactions). Honestly, with as big of an audience as those two podcasts have, I've never heard of someone having an issue with eating during their shows. Now during a Lets Play where AH are talking directly into the mic, yes people do get bothered by that. I don't hear any inherent slapping, smacking, mushing, or crunching sounds per-say. Usually because Luke, or the other co-host, is simply talking about the next topic. Especially since neither of them are talking directly into the mic, it's centered between them so it will pick up less of the eating noises. Either y'all are really damn sensitive, or I just don't notice it because I usually play games while listing to the podcasts. But we need to give Linus and his co-host a break. They're busy filming all day and sometimes right up to the WAN Show, usually being late as a result. You'll often hear Linus complain about not having eaten all day because of being so busy. We really need to cut the man some slack. Next, y'all are gonna complain you hear his stomach growling and tell him to eat something. When you have a very tight production schedule, you don't get the luxury of "brb, gotta take a shit" or "let's take five for lunch". Think of it like shipping and logistics. If the package is not moving, it's not in transit. If it's not in transit, it will not get to the destination in time. If it does not get to the destination in time, the customer will be upset, and possibly put them behind their own schedule because the package contained something they needed to keep going; like replacement parts for a machine as an example.
