Are there any noticeable differences between MWE Gold non modular, full modular and v2 full modular?

V2 may be completely different, we haven't seen it's internals yet IIRC. MWE Gold V2 non-mod. and FM are basically different only in modularity, full modular version may have less ripple but that's not it's selling point anyway.

So v1 is better? The difference is only modularity in v1?

In the absence of any information about V2, especially it's performance, yes, V1 is better.

Well, and there's FCPowerup too. Okay, at a first glance it looks like just a slight modification of MWE Gold V1 and the performance looks okay so far. I'd personally also wait for Aris but if it's cheaper than V1 then go for it, sure.

Just looking for some clarification on this listing. Does it mean only G5 1000w units released before 2020 are not recommended for systems with GPUs? Asking this since I have a G5 650w that I won in 2019 and want to make sure that I can use it for system with a GPU.

Yes, Aris had a reiview of 1000W G5 with out of spec ripple, it were silently replaced with another review with different data in early 2020, so either he retested, i.e previous data were erroneous or there were some problems with early samples that were fixed. 650W model should be fine anyway.

Probably an error, they all should be in tier C due to lack of OTP, will be fixed in the next revision.

Tried looking but didn't see, sorry if I missed it in the over 147 pages, but regarding the "Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 (ARGB)" does this also include the "Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 Series 850W 80 PLUS GOLD Ultra Quiet Full Modular Power Supply?"

Also I know this is more of a personal opinion question but assume the aforementioned are the same would the TT Toughpower GF1 or the Corsair RMx Series RM850x 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Fully Modular Ultra Quiet Power Supply?

Depends on the price, i'd pay maybe 10$ more for RM-x, otherwise go for TT.

Hi!

I'm torn between the BitFenix Whisper M 750W and Super Flower Leadex III 750W, they are close in price where I live (Europe) and both seem like solid choices.

 

Other than price differences is there any reason to consider one over the other? If so, I would love to know. (I saw reviews for both, but I'm no expert, so maybe I missed something obvious).

Yeah, it's a draw but i'd pick Bitfenix probably, i assume they should have better customer support in Europe.

It is a DC-DC unit with LLC resonant which is good (if i can read the spreadsheet right). But seems like most of the info is missing. Probably little to no reviews of that particular psu. But you can always ask @Juular

Looks like a Bronze rated version of Leadex III Gold judging by internals, LLC+DC-DC, FDB fan, all protections ... But i'd like to see some reviews first before placing it in the tier A, so it would be tier B low priority.
