who has the most powerful pc on ltt as of right now?

SAV1OUR

Figure out who runs the servers or whoever does heavy modeling work. Usually have workstations or dual socket boards and what not.

Trying to figure out who has the best PC on the LTT forums is next to impossible... you'd have to narrow down best PC in what aspect and whatnot too....

I have 32 cores of Opteron goodness... on the gaming side, I have 4770k, a 4670k , 3570k and a couple other floating around. Couple CAD units with like Xeon 1220v2 but those are nothing special... My larger Xeon is dual E5649 chips, so fake 24 cores. :)

so how many money trees did you say you had growing out the back?

i think i either forgot or you didn't say.

guess il just post this here as people don't seem to be paying attention, i think this is fairly high up there when it comes to pure cpu processing power, someone with a stupidly expensive xeon build for work purposes probably has me beat though, all in all this makes a 48 core beastly folding machine.

CPU: 4x amd opteron 6172 12 core processors.
 Motherboard: Supermicro H8QGL-IF+

PSU: Corsair rm 850W
CPU cooler: 4x hyper 212 evo
Ram: Corsair 6 memory stick kit 1333 mhz cl9 1,5 volt and all that.
10x kingston hyperx ram with the same speccs as the corsair ones to fill the remaining slots.

Storage: corsair force 128 GB ssd

Obviously my Q8200 with 2GB of DDR2 ram and Radeon 5450 is crushing all your puny specs.

Not me! I can't even game in 1080p! Crossfire 6950's but with only 1gb of VRAM. Donated by a friend so no complaints from me!

That will probably help u too multi task but wouldn't take you where 4770k or 4930k or a 4960k can go... :)

why do you have to bring race into this?

You've brought race into colour yourself.
