who has the most powerful pc on ltt as of right now?

SAV1OUR

also as my name implies "Bottleneck Hunter" i try to eliminate ALL bottlenecks in a sytem (i know that it is a never ending task but i digress) so i went with the RAM i did because it was the fastest and highest amount i was comfortable putting in (trust me i would of went with 64GBs but i didnt want to strain the memory controller) i know its overkill but thats the point i want to take all the things in a sytem that would slow it down and take em out back and bend em over "if you catch my drift". the Video cards are for sure my next project i just need to take over corporate america to get the funds available to FILL all those pesky PCI-E slots with the best hardware possible. MY motherboard was the most expensive i could find on my LGA platform, Because it supports full PCI-E 3.0 x16 (EVEN IN SLI) other boards scale down to x8 in all SLI/CF situations. it also has the best OC potential in my opinion (not alot of attention to the board though, seems like not many people have it because it is not as mainstream as like an ASUS maximus XI Extreme (which was my second choice) but my board also has an extra 6pin just for the PCI lanes for more power i also  need i think 8? pins for my CPU so as you can guess that sucker can really pull power if i put the hardware in to use it.  SOO bigger CPU with Liquid and the TOP TIER GFX cards i can buy also with liquid. the RAID 0 SSDS i have currently are strictly for games or VIP applications and they are blazing, at the start of a BF4 round i get my pick of the litter at what vehicle i want for a good minute or so LOL) right now i still have SEAGATE SSHDs in RAID for my Server but i know that the SSD part of those isnt really being utilized in a server config but whatever. thats why in the future i will be pushing for an entire SSD based system and server (which is my dream but it could happen soon) not sure what else to say about it but i strive for the best system possible (i also dont work for a company ie: NCIX or something that allows me to have the connections or funds to have access to all that hardware ( i work for an ISP and trust me i dont get paid that much and not existant Hardware Perks) sooooi do the best a normal dude can do. Research for about a year and save like crazy and learn the ins and outs of the hardware your looking into then build the sucker. this build took a year of saving and research and the next upgrades will be rolling out in about another year or so with more research and of course more $$$.

thanks guys.

This all depends entirely on how you define "Powerful".  Some might say a rig with a 4960X, 32 GB RAM, and a 780 is "The most powerful", while others might say that a 4P folder with 32 gigs of ram, a 50 TB storage array and a GT 240 is the most powerful.

It's all a matter of perception folks, so please be more specific as to what the topic is actually referring to when creating a thread.

surprised not a lot of power users have shared (if there are any)

guess I'll post then

i7 @ 3930k

ASUS Rampage IV Extreme

16gb 2400mhz ram

GTX Titan Tri-SLi

Soundblaster Zx (my silly reasoning of why I can't get a 4th titan)

1080p surround with another 1080p accessory monitor (because gaming on 3 monitors isn't enough, I still have to watch youtube/movies on a 4th)

don't care enough to spend anymore though - my other hobbies are more expensive and take priority right now

when did "who has the most powerful pc on ltt" become a show off your rig thread? unless you can top a quad opteron 4p folding rig or something like a dual 12 core xeon with 4 k6000's i think people should leave thier sig rigs out of this, otherwise we're going to have a thread full of 8350s and 4770ks and the thread loses all value and purpose.

I'd love to see those xeons e5 2697 v2 (did I get the name right?) 2 of them on a dual slot board like the intel one with 24 ram slots xD fill it up with 16gigs kingston ram ecc 1600 each (if there are any available) and take up to 384gb ram capacity ^_^).

kind of like a dream workstation rig for me nyahahaha since it's 100$ sure my wallet can't afford.

Live your life like a dream.

I know one guy posted a build log with quad titans and a 3970X (ironically just a few hours earlier some guy made a post about how he saw the build on PCparticker and saw the the guy was stuck up and arrogant)

As in, seen in person? Or just have seen pictures of?

If it's the latter, it would be the supercomputers in the US and China. If it's the first, then my own PC is the most powerful I've seen.

It's pretty lame but the most powerful PC I've seen in person was one that I built for a friend. It has a GTX 770, i7, 16GB of ram, and some other less impressive stuff. I realize that it's not top notch, but I don't really have many friends who are interested in PC gaming.
