What to do when friends come over?

spirals

Alright so like, 20 of my friends will come over to my house, and since my house doesn't really fit much for all 20. And I have little or no interesting things in my house to mess around with, by me asking this question you can already tell I'm not that popular/likeable. I'm a broke videogame addict, and I need your help.

*Please note that if you're thinking we should play any PS4 games together, nah I only got 2-3 controllers or so.

If you're not popular or likeable, how do you have 20 friends over at once?

Why do they come over anyway?

Are these people actually your friends? Or are they just people who basically pressured you into hosting their party at your place, just because they can't trash their own place? If they aren't genuinely your friends, refuse them and be clear about it. You won't be "cool" for hosting a party in your home.

I'm asking because you say you're not popular yet say you have 20 friends... Which isn't what you'd normally say. Having 20 friends is popular enough.

The best thing you can do is don't force activities and let people know what you have and they can use. You mention you have a PS4, maybe not everybody wants to play or are willing to swap out so it could still be an option. If you have playing cards you could use those for games or you could pop on a background movie on a TV or something.

Snacks are good to have on hand. Drinks too.

I find people usually do their own thing eventually anyway so even if it's a bit awkward at the start, people will start mingling and finding their groups or whatever. I wouldn't really worry about it too much. Especially if you aren't even that crazy about doing it.

With this added info, it's even more sketchy.

Your parents invite 20 people over, who aren't even your friends?  Just random teenagers to hang out?

Are their parents there as well?

I think there's a lot you're not telling us.  It's frankly annoying as hell to have to goad and massage you to give details.

If you don't care enough to share after bringing it up, why the hell should we?

Honestly as confused as I am, I'd say it's up to your parents with what to do with them it's not your meeting they aren't there specifically to hang with you. I myself would just chill in my room and let the adults deal with it. Unless you want to make friends then just hang out play board games if you have them, I really don't know the age group of all the kids so doing a Mortal Kombat tournament probably out of the question and so is drinking and music, honestly throw on an age appropriate movie and just kick it, there is so much we don't know about the situation it's really difficult to give you a good idea.

Oh... then it's your parents problem, why would you need to worry about?  Did they assign you the duties of event planner?  If not, just hang out and it'll be fine.

card games are always fun I like bullshit personally also Jenga is pretty enjoyable, but also if its 20 people and your parents are inviting them how many are your peers versus older people who will hangout with your parents?
