a 2700X for $63, does this listing looks legit to you ?

Not legit at all.

First off, how would someone offer that CPU for that price, with free shipping, and profit?

Secondly, all of his feedback is in GBP, yet the auction says it's in the US. Pretty obvious red flag.

It doesn't matter if its legit Its covered under ebays buyer protection and  If you dont get what is listed you get your money back no questions asked. Plus if the buyer wants the stuff back they have to pay for shipping.  Also it more then likely stolen goods.

Stupidest. Possible. Answer.

Yeah, let's just continue the cycle, because why would we want to discourage such action in the future? Anyone who adopts that mindset IMO deserves to lose their money.

It being legit matters a lot.

Why would you buy it knowing it's not legit, and bank on getting money back later?    Just a waste of time and energy.

If its not legit you get your money back  no questions asked. eBay will pull it straight from there account  and at most it takes a day or 2 to get your money back. Also the seller has sold thousands of listing and has a 100% rating and for that price its worth the risk of have the money tied up for a few days.

Time for opening, testing and returning... when it's a fake.  Interesting view on the value of your time.

Or are you betting the long shot that maybe it's real?  That 0.0001% possibility?  Playing the lottery basically?

Btw, did you look thru the feedback?  It's all about them buying things not selling CPUs.

I'm really just boggled by the mindset of knowingly buying fake things and knowing you'll have to return them.  Your brain is kind of fascinating.

No!  It's not on the off chance, or worse comes to worst, or damn I got tricked...

You KNOW it's fake.  Yet you're still doing it "just to see".  THAT is insane to me!

The seller has nothing to gain if its fake unless they take the money and run. And if thats the case then Paypal/eBay are the ones that are out the money. Not the buyer

Yea, force Paypal and eBay to fix your mistake and help continue support the scammer. Great idea!

Nope, 2700x's run for at least 200 - 300, and with all of the other red flags.

To be honest it's eBay's mistake though for having such a horrible system to check if the seller is legit or not, in fact there's even no system for that, it just counts all the items the seller have sold as a whole, and the god damn reviews are from different sellers, terrible..

How would it be my mistake. Its there platform and if anything buying the product and it possibly being a scam helps eBay by shutting down the scammer and addressing there flaws with there system. Doing nothing and allowing the unknowing to buy the items is more harmful in my opinion.

A new-er trend of scamming involves them doing something along the lines of quickly closing their paypal shortly after they make x profit from the scam, this prevents paypal from being able to rip the money back to refund you. I had a similar issue happen to me on a $30 WD Hard drive, after purchase they did this and I was just out $30

Edit: I'd ask for a refund immediately if I were you, unless you've got so much you can blow that without a care in the world

I didnt buy it and also the person selling the items has sold thousands of items in the past including cheap CPU's  and its only $63.00 I mean if the absolute worst case is that you lose $63.00 its not the end of the world.
