thank god my problem is fixed!..new computer

Vance44

so had cyberpower computer ended up with bad computer over heating in my video rending long store short took it back to best buy replaced it with a ibuypower $100 more then the one i paid for

pretty much same computer  only difference is this time around i'm with intel i7 8700 its not clocked as hight dont have 8 cores over 6 i would have liked to stick with the ryzen 7 2700x because it had more cores and clocked a little higher but oh well ..i notice the difference right away looking at it ... i made them open it to check it over .. the case right away gives more options for upgrading the cooling and it has the cpu bracket the cyberpower didnt have so i could never upgrade to liquid cooling if i wanted to later

this new ibuypower seems better all the way around and rendered a good 7 min long video with some stronger editing this time around just to push it father then what i was before and right away checking the temps while running video rending was night and day looks so much more stable and most importantly it did not over heat and freez then temps were so much more stable !!!!!! long story short its doing when i need it to do !!! after all i been through this makes me happy

i want to think everyone that looked at all my post and commented give advice and basically helped walk me through everything else .. means the world to me!

this is such a great place to come for help and read what everyone else is talking about!

What help do you need, what is your question ?  My old man has a cyberpower with a Sandy Bridge 2600k.  He has been using it since 2010 and never complains.

well the problem is .. it was just a faulty computer right out of the box but the real problem was the way it was set up is i wouldn't alot me to so much cooling upgrade could only add one more fan and couldn't upgrade liquid cooking for cpu

yea it wasnt bad .. i wish i could have stayed with the amd ryzen 7 2700k bc more cores and clocked little higher but it ended up working out with this other computer so it is what it is its just nuts i got a bad computer right from the get go .. but that can happen

Your good with your system honestly for years to come.  Since your into video editing and rendering and haven't really talked about gaming much, I would suggest one day to upgrade to the ThreadRipper.  It will render faster then you make a cup of coffee to wait for 30 minutes to render.  From the beginning your eyes should have been set on TR .. As that is the way to go for multi threaded sh*T that you do.  Your still good with your current CPU but in the future I def recommend TR.  :)

Your def good with your CPU for now, no regrets!!!  But ya in the future 2020 or 2021 or whenever your purchase shall be a ThreadRipper.  I would go all out get the 32 core 64 thread version and that 10 minute render will take 1 minute lol.

The i7 8700 if operating correctly should clock at 4.3ghz all cores while usually Ryzen 7 2700X tops at 4.2ghz so I don't know about this.

Either ways the i7 8700 is superior to the Ryzen 7 2700X in Premiere Pro by all means, all editing and warp and preview are single thread depended which the i7 excels.

Rendering wise since Adobe allowed iGPU Hardware Acceleration it makes the i7 8700 render as fast as a TR 1920X.

Great processor, I have one myself overclocked at 4.45ghz on my personal usage PC and no regrets.

Coffee lake overclocking does not net much performance, really. You'll lose maybe a year of life out of your PC, if I'm being optimistic.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

Wall Of Fame (Informative people/People I like): @Glenwing @DrMacintosh @Schnoz @TempestCatto @LogicalDrm @Dan Castellaneta
