Yeah, I got the older space shuttle set with the solid rocket boosters. It'll be a great addition onto that!

I heard they might be retiring the ISS and Saturn V so if you don't have it now, might be a good idea to purchase them soon!

So today I got my new lego set - the LEGO Creator Expert 10281 Bonsai Tree:

And I must say, that it is an absolute piece of art...

It is incredibly beautiful, smartfully made too (very easy to change the green parts for the blossomed ones; the brown stand is not directly connected to the "vase" but the "vase" has a rubber bottoms, so it's actually hard to move even by hand, making it very safe).

Not to mention that it is a cheap set (in my mind) at around 54 euros at nearly 900 pieces and the fact that my whole flat has japanese decorations, the room this one is at has other legos (the millenium falcon can be seen a bit at the left bottom side of the video), also as you can see, it perfectly fits the shelf and the fact, that I always kinda wanted a true bonsai, but never did because I am too lazy to learn how to properly treat one. Basically someone kinda custom made this set for me :x

PS. the only thing that is 50/50 funny/random is that most of the pink blossoms are actually pink version of the lego frogs 😂

I can relate. I didn't start building again until last year. Before that the last lego I built was in my childhood. I am 47 now.

  • 3 months later...

So I was not even thinking about getting a new piece but on my birthday 4 days ago I suddenly saw an AD for LEGO on FB and out of curiosity flipped through few images and then saw something I immediately knew I had to get and give myself a little birthday present.

Behold!

INFINITY GAUNTLET!

IMG_20210724_065502.thumb.jpg.8a1bbc01ab8828e0b0ee1453585b5c75.jpg

It is really gorgeous, basically life-sized, the gold plating actually looks very good and it is very stable.

All the fingers are movable so you can even set it to flip someone one off 😂 Also it was not even that expensive.

As Marvel and Lego fan, I totally love this piece :old-love:

I knew that Lego was gonna make this:

https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/republic-gunship-75309

I kinda want it after watching the Clone Wars but it's a big boi.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.
