Hi folks i am calling all LTT team members to make a commitment of the world comming Cancer day on the 4th of February.

Plan of LTT that i want them to do! Give you're pc's power for the entire 24/7 of in the week of World Cancer day to run either Boinc or F@H choose the project you love to do and think that you might do to help. So remember i't starts on Monday the 3de 00:00 and ends on Sunday 00:00 the 9th give your power to a good decent project

Unfortunately Im an adult and have to pay my own electricity bill for my house haha

I do too. But working my computer doesn't make much difference on the power bill.

 

My excuse is that I already have my computer working pretty hard on other things. Unsure on if I want to spare that for a week.

I really don't get how anyone would be worried about the extra power consumption of doing this for a week on their PC. Personally I won't be giving up the $1,000+ that I will be making mining.

I am but my GTX580 says "Failed"

 

The cpu and old GTS 8600 in there seem ok though.

do you have the 580 oc?

 

No, I stopped the client and restarted it and all seems fine but in AfterBurner it shows the GPU usage as 0-2% but the client says it is folding.

 

Temps seem the same as idle as well.

 

My CPU though is working it's little socks off.

Nothing to see here - move along.
