Definitely not 98% (way less than that) but there are a lot of things that are not indexed on the internet.

Signatures are stupid.

Acctually it's like 50% which is already waaaaaaay too mutch. (Not saying that google own 50% of the web but on 50% of web pages there is a link or something that leads to google. )

That movie is youtube vid is so wrong.

The "deep web" is way way smaller then the "surface web" (ridiculous names).

It's also worse in every way except for anonymity.

Everyone who has set foot in there knows this.

what does 98% mean? of the total number of sites on the internet? -I could believe that.

if thats a percent of total content, i doubt that that's possible

the deep web is incredibly small really. 98%? lol I'd be surprised if it was even 2%. There's barely anything worth seeing that's not indexed and most of what is not indexed is not indexed because it simply doesn't need to be, not because it's some shady hidden website.

In fact, the shadey things are indexed the most. Back markets, illegal porn, escort services, assassins, drugs, etc. are easily found.

Nonsense. You can hire hitmen and trade weapons. Drugs too. A lot of knowledge there as well.

How exactly is Tor going to help? The real deep web isn't accessable via Tor.

Its been about for a very long time, its like the land the world forgot.
