CPU is maybe worth $70, people try to sell them $100 on Ebay but that's more than a new 5500 ($90) that's just better in every aspect (and by +20%..)

Platform $150, full PC $250 I'd say

System : AMD R9  7950X3D CPU/ Asus ROG STRIX X670E-E board/ 2x32GB G-Skill Trident Z Neo 6000CL30 RAM ASUS TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC Edition GPU/ Phanteks P600S case /  Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 cooler (with 2xArctic P12 Max fans) /  2TB WD SN850 NVme + 2TB Crucial T500  NVme  + 4TB Toshiba X300 HDD / Corsair RM850x PSU

Alienware AW3420DW 34" 120Hz 3440x1440p monitor / Logitech G915TKL keyboard (wireless) / Logitech G PRO X Superlight mouse / Audeze Maxwell headphones

70-90usd.

But people paying close to 90 usd, are nor real people sincew there are better offerings for the same price. They woiuld only buy it if they already had a platform for it in hand.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

Man, interesting to see that a cpu depreciates faster than a zimbabwe dollar fresh out of a massive money printer.

It's four years old, from the tail end of Intel's malaise era, and it's not an endgame "might as well upgrade everything if you want something better" processor for its platform. I'm kind of surprised it's still going for as much as it is.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
