Shorter walk on the prairie path today but still a good one, stumpy and stalker passed right through the cow grate bypass going but returning stalker decided that she forgot how to go through and slipped through a barbed wire fence much to our dismay. No harm, missed all the barbs, but THERE'S ALL THESE OTHER NON BARBED WIRE PLACES YOU FIT THROUGH!?!? She was happy, got to run as fast as she could across some cow pasture between myself and my partner, stumpy ran along too but that's rough terrain for the low-boy.

He's a big boy already haha. I'm guessing he'll be right around 15lbs when I can take him home in two and a half weeks.

 

Dad is just over 100lbs, and mom is about 80lbs.

He's a lovely looking dog for sure :)

 

Yeah, Dink's parents were around 35-40Kgs for dad I reckon, and around 27-32Kgs for mum... but I reckon she was on the lighter side of those figures, she was a lighter build. Dink will be the same as mum we think, she has the same type of build, well would do without the extra weight she has 🤣

I'm hoping this whole mess gets sorted out soon, so I can take Dink on longer walks to hopefully get some weight off, we play with her a lot during the day, and she has masses of energy and is always up for a game with a ball.

When I was little we had dogs around.

Great Danes and English bulldogs.

Loved them and one of the Danes was my dog, my love ❤️ 

After moving away from home my mom and father both got new doggos in house.

I really loved the personality of moms boxer girl ❤️

When I was living with my ex we had my dads dog with us for few days to see hows the life with a dog in house.

Now with my new BF I've talked about dogs and few breeds to him and if I find some funny pictures or videos of dogs I send them to him.
I go so all the way silly if I see few breeds on a walk outside :D

But I do still feel after having pets in previous relationship that at this moment, it is not a time for a dog or any other pet :/

Thank you for realizing having a pet is not for you or the pet at this time. Too many pet owners want the benefits of having a pet but are not prepared to take the reponsibility of them. I'm in the same boat; I love pets, especially dogs, but I'm handicapped and just too old to take on the responsibility of being a pet owner--it wouldn't fair to the pet or to me--so I live vicariously through the pets of others.

 

I have the feeling, when the time is right for you, you will make a great pet owner (or is it being owned by the pet?).

i dont think so. that photo was taken when we still were at the "shop"
