Weird thing, my phone now not rotating the UI or stamping correct orientation either :(

 

Trying new camera app it takes the pictures and stamps correctly, but the UI is still in portrait mode, weird???

 

Just took a look through my pics and this only happened last 2 weeks, which just so happened to have a launcher/system update within that timeframe.

I wish it were like that in the UK. In the UK a dog even having many characteristics similar to banned breeds is illegal and could get the dog taken away :(

 

As usual for the UK, the nanny state, the dumbness of the few affects the many.

Yeah, I've heard things are quite restrictive over in the UK. Same with training tools as well, like prong and remote collars, which are not cruel, abusive or harmful - they're safe and they save lives. But those who don't know, don't care, and they're actually doing more harm by banning such tools.

 

With the breed ban here, it's kind of funny and ironic because people still breed and own pits, regardless (myself included ;) ). We see them everywhere we go and nearly everyone we meet loves them. I think they've realized the ban has not decreased bite/incident reports one iota during the time it's been active. Training (or lack there-of) accounts for the vast majority of behavioural issues. When are we going to start holding the owners responsible?

 

The trainers I've been learning and studying from, they have dealt with thousands of dogs over the years, and many of these are the worst of the worst, "want to take your face off" dogs. There's no common breed with these behaviours, it's a wide mix of breeds.

Olivia is basically Gideon's heated blanket. He sucks up her warmth all the time. She's really snugly though, so it's a mutual agreement. :P 

 

We were on a walk once with our two dogs, Gideon and another friend's dog, Nova. The friend's dog kept wanting to play with Gideon, but Gideon, being an old grouchy man, wasn't interested. So Olivia came along and put her paw on Nova to stop her, as if to say, "No, he no want to play." lol.

I've seen dogs do that kind of protective behavior befiore. I remember, back when I was a kid (seems impossible a flatulent geriatric like me could have ever been a kid), a neighbor had an older cockerspaniel mix and a goofball young dachshund. Before the doxie could dart across a road without looking, the cocker would nose him back until it was safe to cross.
