Well if they got kicked from Steam they were bound to go somewhere, devs gotta make money. GoG is the 2nd biggest after Steam, therefore the next logical choice.

technically according to paypals acceptable use agreement, you cannot use paypal to purchase adult content. (not that anybody listens or cares). because it violates this, valve may have been given the option to either stop accepting paypal as a form of payment(which would lose them a fuckton of money), or remove games that are just hentai disguised to look like a story game(which pisses off a couple of weebs, nobody cares)

Items that are considered obscene. So all those violent games valve has been selling for years that somehow went undetected? Also not to rag on your opinion but steam sells more than just games. meh its not up to me to determine whats obscene and whats not, thats up to paypal and their own interpretation of their agreement. i can just say that it COULD be in violation(as could the witcher, duke nukem and half the other games on steam).

 

and i know they sell more than games. personally i think they should have stuck with just being a games platform, although i understand the addition of software(especially those designed for game development since valve has really pushed the whole indie thing) and hardware. i had forgotten that they also sell movies(i havent purchased a movie in a very long time so i dont look at that), which admittedly confused me when they announced it. i didnt think it fit for a game distributor.

A) some of the games don't even have any sexual content in the first place.

B) none of the games mentioned currently have explicit sexual content in their steam version.

C) what you suggested is what some of them already do.
