Yeah there are some quirks, but ultimately the game had to be made from the ground up because the technology was so old. Fundamentally though it is the same game and it is by definition a remake.

Edit: Title called it a reboot previously.

I'd wait to see if they make new games using these IPs before calling it a reboot or remake.

Woot!  Can't wait, never got around or the chance to play the Spyro games.

Plus, I'm a sucker for dragons.

 

Now, if only Activision bring back the Vigilante 8 series.  Or, the makers of Twisted Metal bring a updated Small Brawl.  I miss playing some fun vehicle game where you blow up other vehicles.

 

Though, if Rogue Galaxy be revamped up and its game play left alone.....I be all over that on launch day.

I played Crash on the PS1, so having a blast with it on PS4.  I never did play Spyro back in the PS1 days (have played every ****ing Skylanders game though!), so being able to play an updated version will be pretty darn awesome!
