And I just got a pair of much better quads that I'll run on dice before degrading them on air unlike that one... Max BCLK 270&265 under air, 4.74 and 4.78GHz R15 at 1.4V, 3800 and 4100 uncore at 1.4V, both manage DDR3 1940. Too lazy to run these more under air now, you'll have to wait a bit for actual results ;)

1k87hnqua6411.jpg?width=435&s=dea5e2518c

Incomplete pic, but I'll run the best of each type under dice next month.

34xE5606 (best one does 271.26 BCLK at ambient)

24xW3520 (best one does 238 BCLK at ambient)

12xW3530 (haven't tested these)

7xE5640 (two best ones listed above)
3xE5620 (best one does 256, second best 251. BCLK is limiting on these)
1xE5649 269.65 BCLK, 4.76 R15 at 1.4V, 2240 RAM, 4100 Uncore at 1.4V QPI

I need to get some more, but bulk lots are difficult to find sadly :/

Xeon e5649@4.4 GHz on Asus Rampage II Extreme or Gigabyte x58a-OC (whatever I feel like to set up at a time) , 6x4 GB Kingston HyperX 1600, Gainward GTX 670 Phantom, Samsung 840 Evo 240 GB, BeQuiet L8 530W

That is a decent collection :D you should have quite a few top chips there! Good effort.

To anyone interested :
Air cooling is fine, as long as you have fan on the back of the board to cool "CPU package" or back of the socket directly. I don't have it :D
At 4,5GHz my chip needs at least Vcore = 1,45V, which is WAY too much for my cooling. I will try to do a run later (but throttling probably will steal any perf. it gives me).

PS. @Jumper118 It's not THAT bad... if you live in US : LINK.
For EU, we have : LINK;)

What's going on with scaling? +28 cb for +100MHz on 16 threads?

Well, the other guy with 1680 v2 that is on R15 list managed 1669 with 4,6GHz...
He probably used different memory, but still, it scaled better than mine :/

I get around +32-33 cb from going +100MHz on my 4930K, which only has 12 threads. I would assume with +100MHz on 16 threads, you would get at least +40 cb. Oh well, nice score anyways ;)

Like I said : Cooling is an issue when CPU has as many cores as MB phases :D (FYI : Sabertooth X79 has 4 doubled phases).

Also, I think my CPU is an avarage clocker (worse than 4960X I own).

I hate Ivy-E so much you have no idea. I want to smash every HEDT 22nm I see with a sledgehammer. I've had 5x 4930Ks, and one 4820K, and none of those 6 chips could do anything higher than 4,6GHz at like 1.6V. Curse Ivy-E!

What did you get it up to max, and voltage?

Fyi: 4605MHz @ 1.55V was my highest 4930K.

Same : I tried 1.55V as max. on Vcore.
4,6GHz still gave me a BSOD with E5-1680 v2.

@Tech Wizard As for 4960X, I got 4,8GHz stable for 2003 with 1,48V.
4,73GHz passed R15 with ~1,48V : LINK.

4,8GHz was maxed I tried so far and I never went above 1,5V on it.
With backup X79 board (when I get it... some day), I plan to do 4,9GHz ;)
