3.6GHz, and its still using less power than the X6850 at stock. Can't believe it arrived 2 days early. And I love how its getting exactly the same multi threaded score as my X5450 did.

@iHardware Shelden

I reckon that you'll get good results with an E5450, doing a full stress test in AIDA64 (CPU+FPU+Cache+memory, all stock) and:

  •  power consumption peaks at 53W
  • average power consumption at around 45W
  • the CPU fan still idling at 800RPM (Cooler master Eclipse with terrible thermal paste)
  • between 49-58oC thermals across all cores (package peaks at 50oC)

That's a lot better than what my X5450 was doing if I remember correctly, and it had AS5+a rev 1.0 Seidon 120V.

I have x2 E5410 chips running in a server that I gave to a friend, I assume just a lower clocked E5450, those did 497 @ 2.33Ghz. Good little chips and that power consumption is nice compared to more C2Q. Testing a B75 Phenom right now

Also @Jumper118 I don't know if I ever posted these on here, I know I did on HWBot but here is the only socket 423 11.5 and 2003 scores posted on here :P I can't remember if this board supported overclocking but the chip I bought brand new in it's original box just so I could post this...

Yay!

Just upgraded my computer to a Z370 based motherboard with a i7-8700k, which I overclocked to 5.0GHz using a Corsair H75 water based cooler.

Got 1550ish cb points in Cinebench R15, with a peak of 1574! That thing is amazing!

I have finally broken past the 2000 point mark with my 2700X thanks to the cooler weather today.  I tried several memory configurations, but all resulted in a max score of 2006.  I utilized the Performance Enhancer (Level 3) on the Asus Crosshair VII motherboard with a BCLK of 101 and topped off with using Ryzen Master to get my CPU multiplier up to 42.5.  All this resulted in a static all core clock speed of 4.29GHz while under load.

WOW!!

My el-cheapo motherboard read the XMP from the SPD, but would not set it to PC2400... Now, with the correct memory settings, 1606cb on Cinebench R15! I am dumbfolded!

Current settings are x50 core multiplier and x44 cache multiplier. I did a 1h stress test and it went ok. Tonight I'll try running for 6h.
