I probably can but I hardly use FB, uninstalling it from my phone is probably a better idea.

anyone defending facebook..really just shows their lack of knowledge...I said it in the original post..you'd have to be a pretty big loser to actually care about facebook or twitter..

 

theres much better..more advanced way to keep in contact with people and send them msg and pictures...only noobs would use that garbage

 

as for the "techy" comment...I'll say it again...if you have kids or something else that takes alot of your time..your probably not a real techy...

also I'll say..linus "seems" to spend ALOT more time away from his kids then the average parent..unless they come to the office with his wife...

I love the elitist clique on this site about not using social media.

 

Are you aware of what you're doing right now? You're spending time that COULD be spent, socialising with people in real life, rather than strangers on an internet forum.

 

To the OP: Yes, the Facebook app is pretty poor once it's been installed for a long time - the cached data has historically slowed all of my Android and iOS devices down. Using it on a browser is good.

The only one showing lack of knowledge in this thread is you ... You talk in absolute and completely dismiss others ACTUAL experience.

I'm a tech (IT) and have a family, and I do PLENTY outside of work! So who are you to judge others lives? Anyway, congrats on showing your biased and totally ignorant insight of others lives.
