I once accidentally had my processor fall out of the slot when taking it out. Still worked though, surprisingly.

I swapped out a motherboard but forgot to check the position of the mounting holes for the standoffs of the new motherboard. There motherboard survived (dont know how) but I burnt out the power supply. I felt so dumb and dumber.

I used to game using 5.1 logitech speaker setups with my laptop mic for teamspeak 3. THERE I SAID IT OK. I WAS A CASUAL AT ONE POINT. A CASUALLLLLLLL

(to be fair, that laptop mic was freaking amazing; it's sounded better than every headset mic I've ever owned since).

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

Current worst tech crime: using a stock Dell membrane keyboard on a gaming rig. Tempted to pick up a K70 Browns but can't steady my nerves and buy the thing. Wallet will get angry.
