After the nvidia employees went round the forums pretending to be helping but not doing anything or giving any answers on real questions I decided to pm peters@Nvidia and I explained myself to him quite clearly in my first post in a reasonable fashion only to get a reply that comes across as if it had been written by a bot covering it's ass

Looking around reddit, Twitter and Google all the articles ( except a small group )are out in full force saying how nvidia are helping everyone and a boost fix is going to make things faster and it's just discusting tbh

It is completely reasonable to be upset over the issue, NVIDIA should have done better, and the consumers affected should be given the chance to refund if they so deem it should be the proper route. Not that I agree with it personally, as AMD has no better offerings, but NVIDIA should make some amends for an honest mistake.

I absolutely agree. I like AMD. I'll be the first to tell you to not buy an FX processor, but my first dedicated card was an HD 7870 GHz, and because of that, I have an attachment to that card and AMD. I still recommend the R9 290 and 290X rather regularly, considering how cheap they can get. My next upgrade was supposed to be an R9 390X, or whatever high powered flagship that threw my 780 out of the water. This red fanboy, "boycott NVIDIA" stuff really does bring down the general quality of the boards. It's disgusting to see it and a lack of critical thinking from the board users.
