2-month old 5820k/GTX 980 here. Definitely happy.

It almost feels wasteful running games at 1080p (upgrading to 1440 for Christmas)

When I get it, I will hopefully be ecstatic with it. A pc that can run games. It's like a dream to me tbh

*Sigh* If only my motherboard was all black... some light up Avexir ram wouldn't hurt either..

All in all though, I'm pretty happy with my build though. Recently traded my MSI mobo and graphics card for Gigabyte. (I got really sick of the red/black). Looks nicer now. It runs games fine. Browses the internet. I'm happy with it  :)

Nope.

My i5 is too weak for video editing

280X is an awesome card but i want to go 1440p 144hz or 4k

Probably going to upgrade to

Dual 970's

X99 or I7 4790k

and

Either get an ROG Swift or ASUS PB287Q Monitor

I have a 7850 and a 3350P, at 1440P and I am happy. :-), games run at low-med settings or at slower fps (which is okay in my games). The only small complaint I have is my WD blue won't always spin down when I want it to.

But you know... I would still love to own a 970 ;-).

I am fairly happy with it. It runs games decently at 1080p. But the case isn't the greatest for cable management or water cooling, my motherboard is brown, and I still have the stock cpu cooler. Also, my membrane keyboard sucks.

I'm upgrading a few things soon, so I'll be even happier with it in a few weeks.

Even though it's only 9 months old... there's already so much I'd change if I had the cash to throw at it.

I'd love a 970, Asus X99 Deluxe(that virgin white!) and the new LG Curved screen which Linus had in Eyefinity.

i kinda built it wrong, buying a prebuilt and upgrading it, i should have atleast gotten a origin pc or somthing, it would be better ish than the dell

but most of the things i could get over, really all i want is a new mobo, cpu cooler, and my boot on my ssd, and a gpu upgrade would be nice, but not needed

dream rig though
